Downloading IDOC into XML at runtime

Hi Team,

I have a requirement to create outbound IDOC and have to convert it into XML file. So I am using file port to convert the IDOC into XML file. But It is downloading the IDOC as text formatted flat file,  Even I have tried with XML file port also. But still I am getting text formatted flat file in application server.

For time being I am downloading data as XML format file, after IDOC call, but this will be an extra work also will occupy extra space in Application server. Kindly advise to resolve this issue.
